About Inmetro
Inmetro is responsible for managing the Conformity Assessment Programs within the Brazilian Conformity Assessment System (SBAC). Its objective is to implement conformity assessment programs for products, processes, services, and personnel in a supervised manner, aligning with the policies of the National System of Metrology, Standardization, and Industrial Quality (Sinmetro) and international best practices. This work promotes competitiveness, ensures fair competition, and protects public health, citizen safety, and the environment.
