We would like to share an important update related to the ISO 9001 standard, based on information currently available regarding its upcoming revision, with publication expected in September 2026.
This new version will introduce relevant enhancements to the Quality Management System, reflecting current market trends and emerging organizational needs. The main points under discussion include:
- Greater emphasis on sustainability and alignment with ESG practices;
- Strengthening of the risk and opportunity management approach;
- Expanded use of digital technologies and data analytics;
- Consideration of new work dynamics, such as remote and hybrid models;
- Reinforcement of cultural aspects, leadership, ethics, and people engagement.
It is important to note that, to date, no official communications have been issued by Cgcre/Inmetro regarding the transition period or formal compliance requirements.
