Dear Clients,
To provide guidance and prevent inconsistencies in import processes, we would like to clarify that the LPCO (Licenses, Permits, Certificates and Other Documents) is an electronic document required in the Brazilian Single Window for Foreign Trade to support import operations subject to administrative control, including those related to Inmetro.
For the authorization of certificate use by third parties/importers, we reinforce that the applicant must access the Orquestra Inmetro system and formalize the request through activity P065. It is essential to wait for the approval of the submitted activity before making any changes, as only after this approval will it be possible to proceed with adjustments in the LPCO.
We also emphasize the importance of carefully verifying whether all information entered in the LPCO exactly matches that registered in PRODCERT. Whenever possible, it is recommended to copy the data directly from PRODCERT and paste it into the LPCO to avoid discrepancies. Minor differences, such as distinct characters or additional spaces, may lead to correction requirements, as validation is being performed using artificial intelligence, which may even identify inconsistencies that do not accurately reflect the root cause of the issue.
Finally, if the actions do not result in process approval, we recommend submitting a request through FalaBR, including a detailed description of the issue for proper analysis.
We remain at your disposal for any further clarification. Best regards,
